The Empire 36″ Tahoe Deluxe Direct Vent Gas Fireplace offers you the freedom to choose from two advanced ignition systems, each designed to enhance your comfort and convenience.
1. Millivolt (MV) Ignition
Experience effortless ignition with the Millivolt system. With a simple push of the button, the standing pilot light is sparked to life by the piezo ignitor. Once the pilot light is established, the MV system operates seamlessly with an easy-to-reach on/off switch discreetly located on the back of the fireplace. You can also opt for Empire’s range of optional remote control systems, allowing you to manage the fireplace’s warmth and ambiance from the comfort of your seat.
2. Intermittent Pilot (IP) Ignition
For even greater energy efficiency, the Intermittent Pilot system is your ideal choice. Say goodbye to a constant standing pilot, as the IP system ignites the pilot only when needed. With a simple press of the on/off switch, the pilot is ignited, subsequently lighting the main burner and filling your space with comforting warmth. As with the MV system, the IP system can also be paired with an optional remote control for added convenience.
