Empire’s Contour burner system includes vent-free Spirit Stoves. The Contour Burner produces bright flames with precision-port technology. A special 10,000-Btu model is appropriate for bedrooms, where code allows.
Two ignition options are offered for Spirit Stoves.
I) Millivolt
Millivolt (MV) and Intermittent Pilot (IP) ignition are available for Empire Cast Iron Stoves. Millivolt’s pushbutton piezo ignitor ignites a standing pilot. The MV system functions via an on/off switch hidden on the stove back or Empire’s optional remote control system after the standing pilot is ignited.
ii) Intermittent Pilot (IP) systems save energy by eliminating the standing pilot. The pilot ignites the main burner when the on/off button is pressed. An optional remote control system works with IP systems.
